The New York State curriculum is the guide in all subject areas. All subjects are taught with Christian interpretation and understanding. The New York State curriculum is adhered to by each teacher as the basis of information to be learned to keep our students abreast of New York City requirements. At times, the curriculum will be modified by including other areas of emphasis. Evangel Christian School recognizes that it is not sufficient to study the principles of God’s Word in isolation. Therefore, all curricula are presented in the Light of God’s Word, the Bible. “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge.” Proverbs 1:7
