Overcoming the Enemy
Before we were weak we might have shrieked.
Satan was mightier than we.
He was like a bully bounding us, blocking us, and keeping us away from God.
But when all was bleak as we were weak Jesus Christ came.
With His help we overcame Satan, sin, and all his schemes.
Jesus Christ had beaten him a million to one.
Satan lost and we had WON!!!
We made it to our Father like a missing puzzle piece now found.
We now have made it to heaven like a kid making it to his playground.
We made it to heaven because Jesus Christ had come to Earth.
He died for us including you and me.
We then became brothers and sisters in Him like a family.
Because of Him we made it home.
Because of Him we don’t have to just roam.
Because of Him he gave us a way.
Because of Him he saved the day.
Because He died we gained liberty.
Because He died we now are FREE!!!
“Not Too Young”
by Danielle Serrano
I’m not too young to follow His commands
I’m not too young to believe in His plans,
For He knows the plans He has for me
Plans of goodness and prosperity.
I’m not too young to get past the obstacles.
I’m not too young to preach the gospel,
For our purpose in life is to bring glory to Thee
And then off to live life in eternity.
I’m not too young to understand God’s teachings,
I’m not too young to do any of these things.
For I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,
All I have to do is believe.
I’m not too young to love the Lord,
I’m not too young to use the sword.
For God doesn’t have an ending date.
He goes on and on, like the figure eight.
He made the universe, how big, how vast.
Yet He is bigger, He knows the future and past.
I’m not too young, I’m not too young, I’m not too young.
