Math Debates

Our sophomores are discovering triangle theorems, postulates, and proofs. We have invested time in arguing or debating our points of view for congruent triangles. My particular group of students love to stand up for themselves and others so when the opportunity came to argue geometry I couldn’t resist. Students began studying up on vocabulary like proofs and logical reasoning it helped us to reason through chapter 4.
