BUG Program
Kiwanis Club of Hollis teams up with Evangel for Terrific Kids and Bringing Up Grades (BUG) programs. The 5th Grade participated in the Terrific Kids and Bringing Up Grades (BUG) Program sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Hollis. Terrific Kids is a national program that promotes character development, positive behavior, peer relationships, attendance, or schoolwork and receive recognition when attaining their goals. BUG is a program designed to provide recognition to students who raise one grade while maintaining their grades in other subjects from one grading period to another. Students are encouraged to continue this process throughout the school year. Recognitions include: certificates, student dictionaries, Terrific Kid Pins, bumper stickers, BUG stickers, pencils, other gifts and celebrations. This year the students received their certificates and gifts during the Kiwanis Terrific Kids Ice Cream Sundae Party.
