Jan Brett

2B has been borrowing books on a weekly basis. We do quiet reading for a short while and after that we have a short story time as a class.

We have read Jan Brett books. Her language and illustrations are so unique that our students have really enjoyed them. We have read “Honey, Honey, Lion,” and “ The Umbrella.” The Umbrella is especially good because of the rich pictures and different language. It talks about jungle animals that are found in the jungles of Costa Rica. We have enjoyed this great time together.
