The All-American Slurp

During the week of October 13-16, we reviewed and discussed the story, The All-American Slurp, involving two families, one Chinese and one American. Students completed a test on the story and then began a population bar graph as an extension of the story. Students learned about the overcrowding problem in China and their one-child policy. Students compared their population with several other countries.
