This week’s Do Now focus was on Main Idea. Students read and wrote down a short paragraph and underlined the topic sentence. The “Lady Liberty” SRA story was finished and then students chose their own story at their personal reading level in the SRA Kit. They answered comprehension and word study questions. For homework, students read “Whale Watch” in Taking the High Road and completed questions.
