In honor of Mother’s Day, the PTF held a sale on Thursday May 7, 2009. Students were able to buy something special for their mom, grandmother, aunts, etc.
It was such a delight to see the children looking around in excitement to pick the very best gift for mom: chocolate roses, cards, baskets, mugs and of course, jewelry for the queen of the house!
This sale was not a fundraiser; the purpose was to give the children the opportunity to give back to their mothers. We had items for as low as 25 cents giving everybody the chance to take a gift home.
A special thanks to our volunteers who made this sale a hit! Their kindness and love helped the children obtain the best for their money.
After all, we wanted to express our love to:
… that extra special mother who has dedicated years of service and love to raising her children.
…the mother who has sacrificed for her children to have more than she ever had
..the mothers that are just blessed with that extra patience and kindness…to every mother out there that we thank God for every time we think of them.
