This week 4L went on a wonderful Field Trip to see a play on the life and heroism of Harriet Tubman. It covered her life as a precocious child in slavery to a brave (if not headstrong) runaway slave, who eventually became a “Conductor” in the Underground Railroad and helped over 300 other slaves escape. She was a true heroine!
