This year the reading lab has experienced many fun activities. . Middle School created a media collage and presented many pieces of poetry and short stories to the whole class. Many videos were presented to the class to introduce a topic. . Sixth grade acquired many skills for reading that was highlighted in the daybook. Seventh grade explored the origins of the Harlem Renaissance through the writings of Langston Hughes. And last but not least, eighth grade shared memorable memories through heartfelt reflections of short stories and poems all provided through the Daybook. All in all, the year was a fun filled adventure for each grade.
