Future Evangelists

What a blessing this class is to me. The spiritual growth and understanding is a blessing to all. We are truly building up our future Christian evangelists. Let’s pray that this class continues to develop in their walk with Christ.

Speaking Spanish

11th grade is working on their reading skills. The students are practicing orally all the skills they have gathered in their years in Spanish class. Practice with them, they will be required to read a newspaper article in Spanish and create a small summary about their reading.

No Mid Term

10th grade started the new year with a blast. Ninety seven percent of the class was exempted from the mid-term. I want to continue to pray for enthusiasm and encouragement; they are doing an awesome job.

Cuba

6th grade started the year with a great start. The students learned in depth about the Cuban culture. They have been adding new words relating to Cuba and their daily life styles to their vocabulary. I want to thank the Sendra family for sharing their vacation photos of Cuba with the class.

Our Pre-K 3 students have been working hard this past month to prepare for their chapel.  Pre-K 3 shared about Noah’s perseverance while building the ark.  They sang a beautiful song “I Am Special,” which reminded us all how important we are in God’s eyes.  They also sang a song about praying to God each day.  They did a great job and gave us all encouragement to never give up but to persevere in everything we do.

Keep On Rolling

As we reach the half way point this year, we’re already looking ahead to next year. Our stories are getting tougher, and we’re using our reading skills to face the challenge. We’re learning to apply the skills and strategies that we already know to anything we read. We’ve built up a great momentum and we’re going to keep on rolling!

High School Christmas Program:

“The Colors of Christmas” was a new direction this year for our high school.  Students were able to see that each color had a meaning that illustrated God’s love and mercy on us as He sent His son to be born and one day die for us. The poems and testimonies that were shared by our high school brought about the true meaning of the season. God is using our students to spread the gospel literally around the world.

Middle School Christmas Program:

Our middle school shared “Celebrate the Day” in their annual Christmas program.  Many students wrote poems and essays to share what it means to celebrate the day that Jesus Christ was born.  The songs and dramas were great portrayals of why we celebrate Christmas.  The middle school students were such a blessing to parents and the community.

Elementary Christmas Program:

“A King is Coming to Town” was a great story of our Savior coming to this earth which our elementary students shared for their Christmas program this year.  It was a great journey as students looked at various kings, such as, King Tut, Elvis, The King of the Jungle and more on their discovery to realize that Jesus is the true King of Kings that came to this earth for us and is still alive today.
