To all my students: I love you. You have all been a blessing to me.
I pray that I was a blessing to you as well. You all have grown and have achieved your academic excellence. I am so godly proud to see how you all have flourished despite challenges that came our way this year.
You have all challenged Mrs. Christian to grow in new ways. I thank you for that. You all have pushed me to do better as I have pushed you.
That is what Christ would want. We are to be there for each other.
Always remember to keep Christ first in everything.

Math/Forensics Teacher
Forensics Class was broken into groups of five. Each group was given three consecutive chapters to review. They prepared and gave an oral presentation. Each group did a superb job in recapping the chapters. They displayed what they have learned throughout the year.

10th and 11th Math Classes were preparing for the RCT Exam. The students did a number of practice test and exercises. I pray that they will all do well.

9th Algebra I Class has taken a series of practice regents in preparation of the actual Regent State Exam. I pray that they will all do well.

8th Grade Math Class worked hard in preparing for their final exam. I pray they will all do well.

During June, we watched the movie based on the Old Yeller novel and compared the two. Students shared their likes and dislikes of both.

During June, we completed Final Persuasive Essays (for or against uniforms) and reviewed and tested on paragraph and essay format. We also reviewed for Final Exams, which included the aforementioned information, as well as similes and several sections of grammar.

During June, we completed the reading of the novel, Johnny Tremain, and we reviewed the key chapter events and themes for the Final Exam.

During June, we read through Ch. 6 in the novel, Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry. We discussed the chapters and reviewed for the Final Exam, which also included a few stories from the Of Places literature textbook.
