Students have been working on multi-step equations and will continue this topic as we begin in January. They will also learn how to solve equations when there is a variable on both sides.

Students are continuing with patterns, tables and expressions and how they fit onto a scatter plot. As they conclude this topic, seventh grade will quickly go into learning about integers and how they work on a number line.

Students are continuing with fractions at the beginning of January. They will be learning how to put them in simplest form, writing equivalent fractions, as well as comparing and ordering them. They will finish out the week with a test on fractions and start looking at terminating and repeating decimals.
