Evangel has two new teams that have enthusiastically come aboard, bursting with fresh ideas. Each team has re-named their edition of the paper. The high school edition will now be called “Cutting Edge”, and the middle school edition will be called “Eagle Eye”. We look forward to our first edition coming out soon.

Evangel’s Newspaper Elective launched its first successful issue highlighting the election and various school events. Both classes are working towards the Christmas holiday issue due out the week of the Christmas program! The newspaper can be found online! Please take a moment to have a peek. This elective has been a blast!!!!!!!!!!!! We are learning how to embroider and makes a lot of cool things like pencil holders, purses, frames, etc… Come to our Christmas show and see our display.
We have been working with jeans and sweatshirts. The students are designing their own logo for their sweatshirt. Come to our Christmas Program and see our presentation. This elective is fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Middle School students lead our 6th, 8th and 8th graders in worship each Friday at chapel. We are so blessed to have so many talented singers and musicians that love the Lord and want to use their talents for Him.
Evangel’s Middle School/High School elective continues to gather material and hone their writing skills in preparation for the publication of the first edition of their newspaper. Reporters will also work on improving their interview skills. We’d love to have the opportunity to interview you! Please let us know if you have an interesting story to share!
