In June we were studying a chapter that dealt with air travel. The emphasis was on vocabulary and verb structure that helped to speak about the subject. The students were very anxious about
finals, so we spent some time reviewing our past lessons.

To all my students: I love you. You have all been a blessing to me.
I pray that I was a blessing to you as well. You all have grown and have achieved your academic excellence. I am so godly proud to see how you all have flourished despite challenges that came our way this year.
You have all challenged Mrs. Christian to grow in new ways. I thank you for that. You all have pushed me to do better as I have pushed you.
That is what Christ would want. We are to be there for each other.

Math/Forensics Teacher
Forensics Class was broken into groups of five. Each group was given three consecutive chapters to review. They prepared and gave an oral presentation. Each group did a superb job in recapping the chapters. They displayed what they have learned throughout the year.

10th and 11th Math Classes were preparing for the RCT Exam. The students did a number of practice test and exercises. I pray that they will all do well.

9th Algebra I Class has taken a series of practice regents in preparation of the actual Regent State Exam. I pray that they will all do well.

: A great year studying World History and the foundations that have set the stage for the present time. Final papers were very informative and well-done for the most part. Let us move on and create new history!

: New Testament class is over, but the journey still continues until that day. I trust we are more prepared for the work of Christ than we were at the beginning of September 🙂

Another semester of Government is over. The seniors are finally done and on their way to the future. Hopefully lessons of civics and responsibility do not get lost in the excitement of what is new.

Another year of US History has come and gone. We’ve watched history in the making from the historic election to the tremendous recession. Hopefully we will learn from history and not repeat errors of our past.
