Students made thank you/we’ll miss you cards and posters for their teachers. These cards showed the children’s appreciation and were placed in their teacher’s mail box on the last day of school.

Hooray we made it! School is finally over. Pre-K 3 had a blast at the end of our year party. We made cupcakes with sprinkles and gummy worms. We all enjoyed the pizza party and all the cnady. We also went to Astoria park and had an end of the year picnic. Parents were more than welcomed to come. We all did a huge obstacle course and played many different sports and activities. Ices were given to all the students as a reward for being so well behaved. Also awards were given to each chicdl in honor of all their hard work and completion of our Pre-K 3 year. God bless you all and have a wonderful summer.

In May we celebrated a month of springing into Summer. We had so much fun decorating and creating our very own rainbow fish. We also saw the movie “Rainbow Fish” and sang songs about caring for one another.

After a lot of hard work, we finished writing the ABCs when we wrote the letter “Nn”. We have continued writing simple words as well as our first names. We have worked hard to do our best when we write.

On May 27th, Pre-K 4 planned a day of fun in the sun at Flushing Meadow Park Queens Zoo. But God had another plan and we were rained out!

On Friday May 29th, we had an in-class dinosaur egg hunt. Each child had 3 eggs with their names on, and inside each egg there was a dinosaur. (Do you know how hard it is to find dinosaur eggs these days?) On Monday June 1st we had Dinosaur Day in Pre-K 4. Working in teams the children painted giant dinosaurs. And did a great job! They are on display in the class and will remain up all summer.
