5 BASIC INGREDIENTS Evangel Christian School realizes that there are “5 Basic Ingredients” that every student must have if they are going to reach their full God-given potential.
1. CARING ADULTS Evangel staff offers stability, love, support and professionalism. Evangel provides a staff of caring adults who live by a moral code of excellence, not simply teaching biblical principals in theory, but living them out everyday. Our focus is on the character development of our children, and it starts with every staff member living and working as mentors. Evangel students enjoy a family atmosphere with high teacher interaction.
2. SAFETY Evangel offers a safe place where students are free to learn without fear of harm, bullying or intimidation. We realized our students needed a safe place where they could be protected from the harshness of the city. After less than a week at Evangel we get the privilege of seeing our students entire demeanor change, they realize they are safe to be themselves and safe to learn.
3. SERVING OTHERS Evangel provides academic excellence while nurturing our students to break free from the “Me First” culture. Our focus is and always has been on the development of the whole person, we work to create “Servant Leaders” or those who put others first while they are leading in their sphere of influence. Impacting society, while tapping into their God-given talents and giftings.
4. RELEVANT EDUCATION Evangel provides an atmosphere of academic excellence! Imagine a school where it is “cool” to be smart and a school with over half of its student body on the Honor Roll. That’s Evangel…. With a student body of just over 500, 290+ are on the honor roll. Evangel has a 100% Graduation rate and every graduate is accepted to college. 5. MORAL FABRIC Most important of all of the ‘5 basic ingredients” is that Evangel students are exposed to teaching that weaves a moral fabric into their lives. Moral excellence is modeled in Evangel’s staff, curriculum, sports and after school programs. When children see excellence modeled day in and day out it is natural that it will effect their decision making process and so effect their home and the greater community at large.

To affect more children we need to provide more scholarships
To be able to accommodate more children we need more space
Additional classrooms, new science labs, new computer labs.
Additional students require more Teachers and additional training.
We will be adding 4 new floors above the gym (click here for expansion plans)
This expansion will provide us with 21, 385 square feet of additional classroom and office space.
Currently we are expanding our vision and reaching across borders as we recently worked to add an I-20 program to Evangel, this program allows for children overseas to join the Evangel family by proving visas to international students. Currently we have a class of 10 Korean students who have joined our school this year alone.
